At Sagarathome, what sets us apart is our flavor combinations and halal sourced ingredients. We aim to offer the most appealing and fresh version of a dish, taking the work out of cooking and eating. Our meals are prepared from scratch, with the highest quality ingredients, without any preservatives, and are delivered fresh for you to enjoy. Our chefs are continuously experimenting with creating meals that are common and unique and will be adding more options to the menu soon, so please stay tuned!

When you order a meal with us, whether on a ‘one-time order’ or ‘meal plan’ basis, we start the work to source, prep, cook your meals with the highest quality ingredients. The meals are then packed in insulated boxes to keep them fresh during transit and shipped nationwide to you via the major couriers to your doorstep. Simply warm up the meal thoroughly to enjoy a delicious, healthy chef-prepared meal at home!

Once you select the meals, either on a ‘one-time order’ or ‘meal plan’ basis, the price will be next to your meal choices. Once you complete your selections and enter your zip code, the total amount will be shown to you in the Checkout cart along with any delivery or processing charges. We are offering FREE delivery for a limited time.

For ‘One-Time’ orders, pay at Checkout using Apple Pay or all major credit cards: AMEX, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.

‘One-Time Order’ meals are shipped one (1) day after your order is placed. However, we ship the meals from Monday through Thursdays only, in order to preserve the freshness of the food. Any orders placed on a non-shipping day (Thursday through Saturday), will be shipped the at the earliest next available shipping day, which is Monday (except major Holidays). Orders placed on Sundays will ship on Tuesdays. You will be supplied a Tracking number once the meal is shipped.  

For ‘Meal Plan’ orders, you will be charged every week depending on your choice of the meal plan. For meal plan subscribers, billing will occur every Wednesday on the week before the meals are shipped.

‘Meal plan’ orders must be placed by Sunday for the meals to ship on Wednesday of the same week. Any orders placed after Sunday, will be processed the following Wednesday.

Payments can be made at Checkout via Apple Pay or all major credit cards: AMEX, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.

Sagarathome is available throughout the 48 continental United States except for Hawaii and Alaska. We ship all orders via all major couriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) delivered to your home or office.

Please ensure packages shipped to office locations are accepted or stored appropriately within a reasonable amount of time. Sagarathome will not be responsible for meals that were not stored properly or consumed within the recommended amount of time.

Meals should be unpacked from the shipping boxes immediately and stored in the refrigerator or freezer depending on the rate of consumption. In the rare case that the food goes bad during transit, please let us know within eight (8) hours through email at: info@sagarathome.com.

Shipping

‘One-Time Order’ meals are shipped one (1) day after your order is placed. However, we ship the meals from Monday through Thursdays only, in order to preserve the freshness of the food. Meals will be delivered to you via all major couriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) within insulated boxes that keep the meals fresh and safe from damage. Depending on the courier used, a tracking number will be emailed to you with shipping details.

No, orders shipped through major couriers do not require a signature. The insulated shipping boxes will keep your meals cools for some time after delivery, but we recommend placing them in the refrigerator after it arrives as soon as possible.

We do not place an expiration date on the meals, as it is fresh prepared with a variety of ingredients and we recommend enjoying the meals as early as possible.

The meals are expected to be stored in the fridge and consumed within a reasonable amount of time, or stored in a freezer if held for longer periods.

We hope you can enjoy the meals soon after arrival. Although the shipping packages are insulated to keep the meals fresh, we suggest to promptly remove the items from the shipping box and store them in the refrigerator or freezer.

Storage and Packing

Yes, the containers are high quality food-grade microwavable containers. To HEAT, simply:

Open a thin slit in the plastic film by perforating it with a fork or kitchen knife. Place the meal in the microwave. Heat thoroughly. Remove meal from the microwave, take off the plastic film, and enjoy your delicious meal!

Unfortunately, the meal container is not designed for the oven. However, if removed from the meal container, it can be heated up on a stovetop or oven in an appropriate vessel of your choice.

The meals are prepared fresh on-demand and delivered to you using insulated, temperature-controlled packaging, allowing it to stay fresh while ensuring food safety and quality during shipment.

Yes, we recommend recycling or reusing all packaging materials when possible.  Your food containers are recyclable as well.

Nutrition

All meals are prepared using halal sourced ingredients. Allergy disclaimer labels will be available on dishes that may contain common and known allergens (eggs, nuts/tree nuts, milk, wheat, and shellfish).

While we strive to deliver you balanced and healthy meals, calory intake is not a single factor in weight loss. Our healthy meal choices will be appropriately portioned, as part of a balanced diet, aiding any weight loss goals. We always recommend you consult qualified physicians before any weight-loss initiatives, but we can certainly assist you in that journey.

We also make it easy for you to choose healthy meal options that you might not have considered before. Since we take the work and time out of planning, prepping, and cooking healthy meals, you can now eat fresh and healthy at the click of a button and a few minutes in the microwave.

Since all meals are prepared fresh, we adhere to a firm production schedule.  ‘One-Time Order’ meals are shipped one (1) day after your order is placed. ‘Meal plan’ orders placed by Sundays are shipped on Wednesdays of the same week.

Once you sign up at Sagarathome.com, you can log into your Sagarathome.com account to modify your meals, plans, billing, and shipping information. 

For cancellations, please call customer support at call (718) 657-2855 or email us anytime at info@sagarathome.com.

Billing cycles occur prior to shipping on Wednesdays. For our recurring ‘meal plan’ subscribers, billing will occur on Wednesdays of the week before meal shipment. Any modifications to your existing meal plan orders must be received at Sagarathome by Sunday noon, EST on the week before meal shipment.

Recurring payment authorization can be canceled by emailing us at info@sagarathome.com or by calling us at (718) 657-2855. Sagarathome must receive requests to cancel by Sunday noon, EST on the week before meal shipment.

Cancellation will not take effect if the notice is received after this time, until the following billing cycle. The customer will be bound by all terms of agreement with his/her credit card issuer. A valid credit card or debit card must be provided at sign up to process meal orders at Sagarathome.com.
